Phillip Allan is the Managing Director of PBDA Pty Ltd. and owner of web site www.pbda.com.au which specialises in business growth advice.

Phillip practised law for some sixteen years in general practice incorporating services in conveyancing, family law, litigation both for plaintiffs and defendants, body corporate law, and in one instance acted for a successful litigant in a passing off case which reached a favourable conclusion in the High Court of Australia. (a very scary place with five High Court Judges looking down on you from their elevated bench)

Phillip has a wide range of previous commercial experience with CBA as Executive Manager Contracts Management and the management of associated functions of Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Supplier Relationship Management. Phillip specialised in contract negotiation with third party suppliers and specialised in IT contract negotiation.
Phillip started with Optus in 1992, as Contracts Manager and subsequently became Contracts and Procurement Manager. Phillip was involved as lead negotiator for three of the five Optus Strategic Alliance Agreements. Phillip studied Intellectual Property Law at Masters level both at UTS and University of NSW. Phillip managed the section which dealt with tenders and Request for Proposals for third party services and over a period of two years was involved with over 200 such exercises which included commercial evaluation.

Phillip now specialises in providing Business Growth strategies for SME’s’. Strategic Planning is also vital if you want your business to grow and succeed.

The other parts of “Us” are Tracey Lee White ( General Lee) who is the WordPress website designer and administrator. The beauty of WordPress is its capability to insert “plug ins” which are developed by the WordPress community. Last, but not least of “Us” is my colleague Jeff Goodman who is a Marketing and Advertising Consultant. I know Jeff more as a patient adviser who continues to admonish me for the wordy, lengthy blogs that I write. I tell him I get carried away but he sees no reason to read more than 350 words of advice. At 350 I’m just getting warmed up. (at this juncture the word count is 398).
